Quake rocks Washington area, felt on East Coast

Prophecy Sign: Great earthquakes in diverse regions of the world at the time of the end.



For most people, hearing of another earthquake in some far flung corner of the world is not exactly earth shaking news, (excuse the pun). Except of course for those huge earthquakes that kill thousands, cause tsunamis and tilt the earth slightly off balance, which has occurred more than a few times in the past decade.



However when you see two large earthquakes basically in your immediate neighborhood, (America), and both quakes come with the label of being the strongest in a half century, it gives you cause to reflect and ask the question; Just what is going on here?

All we know is that we were warned by Jesus Christ to expect all this increasing sciesmic activity as the time of his return approached.

The strongest earthquake to strike Colorado in almost 40 years shook awake hundreds of people, toppled groceries off shelves and caused minor damage to homes in the southern part of the state and in northern New Mexico. No injuries were reported as aftershocks continued Tuesday.  The magnitude 5.3 quake hit at 11:46 p.m. MDT Monday about nine miles southwest of Trinidad, or 180 miles south of Denver, according to the U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center in Golden. It had an estimated depth of 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) and was felt in a relatively large area of southern Colorado and northern New Mexico.

The most powerful earthquake to strike the East Coast in 67 years shook buildings and rattled nerves from South Carolina to Maine on Tuesday. Frightened office workers spilled into the streets in New York, and parts of the White House, Capitol and Pentagon were evacuated. There were no immediate reports of deaths, but fire officials in Washington said there were at least some injuries.
