Prophecy Sign: War in the Middle-East, (Psalm 83 and the Gog/Magog war) The bible is filled with prophecies related to coming wars in the Middle-East. Bible prophecy indicates that a series of wars will be fought in the
Holy Land during the last days, (the Psalm 83 battle, the Ezekiel Gog/Magog war, the Daniel 11 Kings of the South/North). A remnant of Jewish people will ultimately be chased out of
Israel and protected by God himself, while
Jerusalem and the
Holy Land are tread upon by the Gentile world for a period of 3 1/2 years. This occupation will end at the final war to end all wars referred to as the Battle of Armageddon.
All these wars sound pretty awful, and in fact the book of Revelation indicates a great number of people will perish due to the sword of war, (Revelation 6).
It's not just observers of bible prophecy that are taking note of events that seem to be leading to these coming Middle-East wars, even the powers that be in the Pentagon are now quietly warning of a possible war starting as soon as this coming September.

Baer responded that the military is opposed, as is former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, who used his influence to thwart an Israeli attack during the Bush and Obama administrations.
