Prophecy Sign: The collapse of the world economy
Yet more signs of a world economy that is becoming ever sicker with each passing day. An economy that many pundits are now saying will, (rather than might), collapse in the very near future, (see video below).
Bible prophecy also foretells that the world economy will collapse, to such a degree that people will literally cast their gold and silver into the streets. Things that we consider of value now, will become worthless when the prophecies of an end of days global economic collapse come to fruition, (read Revelation 18).
They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be treated as a thing unclean. Their silver and gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath. It will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs, for it has caused them to stumble into sin. Ezekiel

In an updated and expanded version of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has identified five "global shocks" that will destabilise the world economy with increasing frequency in coming years.
