Prophecy Sign: The introduction of a Marked based system that will control who may buy or sell.
We aren't told exactly how it will work, but we are warned in bible prophecy that a time will come when people will be controlled by their ability to buy or sell, (the Mark of the Beast). Now this mark could be something as simple as a body mark on the hand or forehead, or it could be something a little more sophisticated and inventive.
Such is the ways of our modern technology which is quickly making it very easy to conduct financial transactions without the requirement of cash or credit cards. Contact-less payment methods are springing up all over the place and could easily be the prelude to something more sinister and permanent that would be affixed to the hand or forehead. It's especially disconcerting to know that 60% of young people have absolutely no problem with such payment methods, (a preconditioning to the Mark of the Beast?)
He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. Revelation 13:16-17 NIV
