No stability in Israel if there's no stability in Syria

Prophecy Sign:  Syria will become part of a coalition of nations that will attempt to destroy Israel at the time of the end.

Since the re-establishment of the Jewish State in 1948, Syria has been involved in every war fought against Israel, (1948/49, 1967, 1973).  Syria makes no secret that it would like nothing more than to wipe the name of Israel from the middle-east, permanently.  This attitude will be the downfall of the Syrians, as God has promised that the Syrian capital will become a heap of ruins for its attempt at looting and plundering Israel.

With talk of war escalating in the middle-east, it's looking more and more like this yet to be fulfilled prophecy is coming closer to proving God's word yet again to be true and accurate.

In Damascus, Bashar Assad's close confidante Rami Makhlouf threatened that Syria would go to war against Israel in reprisal for US and Europe backing for the uprising. Makhlouf, an international business tycoon, is on the US and EU sanctions lists. In an interview with the New York Times Wednesday, May 11, he said: "If there is no stability here, there's no way there will be stability in Israel. No way, and nobody can guarantee what will happen after, God forbid, anything happens to this regime."

A cousin and adviser of Syrian President Bashar Assad warned that unless there was stability in Syria, "there's no way there will be stability in Israel," the New York Times reported on Tuesday. Rami Makhlouf, one of the political elite in Syria, gave a three-hour interview to the New York Times, but did not elaborate on the comment about Israel's stability, saying only "no way, and nobody can guarantee what will happen after, God forbid, anything happens to this regime."
