Egypt's protests enter 3rd day, ominous for regime

Egypt, (the Hagrites), is one of the nations included in the war prophecy of Psalm 83.  This group of Arab nations that immediately border Israel conspire together to formulate a plan to destroy the name of Israel forever.  However, up to this point in time, there existed one small problem with the inclusion of Egypt in such a plan;  The fact that Egypt currently has a peace treaty with Israel that has existed since 1979.

With the events unfolding in Egypt the past couple of days, could we eventually see the removal of the present Egyptian leadership of Hosni Mubarak, and the implementation of a more radical Islamic regime in Egypt?  One with a major hate for the Jewish nation such as the Muslim Brotherhood?

With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish.  “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.” With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you— the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites, Byblos, Ammon and Amalek,  Philistia, with the people of Tyre. Even Assyria has joined them to reinforce Lot’s descendants. Psalm 83:3-8 NIV

From the articles:

Thousands of Egyptians have vented their rage against President Hosni Mubarak's autocratic government for two straight days of protests that defied a ban on public gatherings. Baton-wielding police responded with tear gas and beatings in a crackdown that has shown no tolerance for dissent, as opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei made his way back to Egypt on Thursday after a self-imposed exile in Austria.
Egypt's largest anti-government protests in years echoed the uprising in Tunisia, threatening to destabilize the leadership of the most important U.S. ally in the Arab world. The ability of the protesters to sustain the momentum for two days in the face of such a heavy-handed police response was a rare feat in this country.

The Muslim Brotherhood, the largest political opposition organization in Egypt, said it will join Friday’s demonstrations.  A member of the group's Executive Bureau and its spokesman, Dr. Mohamed Morsi, said that the group will participate in a demonstration after Friday prayers in order to "achieve popular demands."  The Brotherhood is keen on pushing the people's demand for reform as the group is part of the people, he said in a statement to reporters.

Pro-democracy activists vowed on Thursday to step up the largest anti-government protests in Egypt in three decades, despite mass arrests and mammoth security following two days of street clashes. The protests against the autocratic rule of President Hosni Mubarak, inspired by the groundbreaking "Jasmine Revolution" in Tunisia, have sent shockwaves across the region and prompted Washington to prod its long-time ally on democratic reforms.
