Is it possible to transmute elements through a process of alchemy? People have been in pursuit of this goal since the Middle Ages or even before that.
The atomic age is in a sense proof that transmutation is possible and provable. After all, he nuclear industry is performing alchemy and transmuting elements, it is just that they are doing it in a negative, life destroying manner.
If someone had tried to propose this negative transmutation was possible back in the Middle Ages, people would have laughed that person out of town, or possibly even burned them at the stake for being a warlock or witch.
After all, the scientists and religous scholars of that time were very sure that the Earth was only 2,000 years old, the sun revolved around a stationary Earth, and that the Earth was flat. Of course, you would fall off the edge if you sailed out in the ocean far enough.
Wouldn't you agree that Earth is the domain of opposites, such as cold/heat, light/dark, up/down, gravity/antigravity, protons/antiprotons/ etc? There is no end to the opposites present in this mysterious dimension we are all living in. Is there any exception to this rule of everything having an opposite?
What if there are NO exceptions to this rule of opposites existing? If negative transmutation is possible and now proven, why can't positive transmutation or alchemy also be possible, especially when it comes to deactivating the deadly, radioactive manmade elements such as tritium, cesium, plutonium, etc?
Open minded scientists and citizens will at least be open to the possibility, even if it seems very far fetched and 'impossible' when using present day knowledge. Keeping an open mind is what TRUE science is all about, wouldn't you agree?
As it turns out, there may be a potential discovery that is in the wings, called Brown's Gas, which according to the researchers, offers promise of transmuting radioactive elements. The experts researching this think they have discovered that there is an opposite kind of fire; a feminine fire, as opposed to the masculine fire that everyone is used to.
This feminine fire (Brown's Gas) has unique properties; it acts as electrochemical plasma, with many very unique and yet undiscovered properties. Of course, all of these unique properties and uses, (including deconstructing radioactive elements) needs to be confirmed by scientists all around the world.
Because researchers are dealing with dangerous radiation, transmuting elements in a positive way will need to be confirmed in the nuclear labs that are used to doing this work safely, but by all initial appearances, this discovery may hold great promise for 'deactivating' nuclear radiation in a rapid manner.
Have any experiments been done that proves this transmutation is possible?
via blessings2all; 1991, China's Baotou Nuclear Institute released a Report #202, "The Results of Experiments to Dispose of Radiation Materials by Brown's Gas", which establishes that experimentation on Cobalt 60 radiation source decreased radiation by about 50% or half-life of radiation — but sometimes more radiation is decreased which needs investigation of possibilities for decreasing more of the radiation in single treatments of exposure to Brown's Gas flame, lasting only a few minutes, in the samples as described in the table below.

"In another test conducted by Yull Brown before a public audience including U.S. Congressman Hon. Berkeley Bedell with a committee responsible in this area of concern, the experiment ran as follows as reported by the press: "Using a slice of radioactive Americium … Brown melted it together on a brick with small chunks of steel and Aluminum … After a couple of minutes under the flame, the molten metals sent up an instant flash in what Brown says is the reaction that destroys the radioactivity. (Hopefully they did this experiment in a safe way, using negative pressure containers and air filters/scrubbers, or lots of people may have been exposed to radiation.)
Many methods have been developed to massively accelerate the conversion or transmutation of radioactive materials to more atomically stable elements. I read over the suggestions here and not one I have seen suggests the most obvious and only possible solution. It appears that real and fundamental permanent solutions have been deliberately suppressed. When they have been presented they are not only denied but in many cases violently denied.
A big reason appears to be is that The Powers That Be in the whole field do not want their mega-billion $troth to end. The other is that it flies in the face of standard junk science thrown in the faces of the public.
"Nuclear decay is only stochastic or probabilistic, never deterministic." Different versions of conventional transmutation are known and discussed in the literature: by photons, by neutrons, by charged particles and by scalar fields. One potential solution, "Brown's Gas" — may reduce nuclear radiation up to 96% within minutes.

What is the take away? What if there are answers to all of human kinds problems? What is Brown's Gas offers solutions to at least some of those problems? Isn't it worth researching all of the possible uses and benefits of Brown's Gas, including the transmutation of nuclear waste, especially since the one experiment done showed great promise in this direction?
