'DOCTORS' TALKS ABOUT USE OF POTASSIUM IODIDE, KI PILLS


The Doctors TV Show talks about preventative use of potassium iodide, or KI pills.
"Of all the radioactive isotopes and radioactive particles that can come from a nuclear reaction, radioactive iodine 131 (I-131) poisoning is one of the most lethal. The good news is that damage to the thyroid from exposure to I-131 can be prevented. Keep in mind these facts about your thyroid:

1) Your thyroid runs on iodine.

2) Your thyroid is a pig.

3) Your thyroid is stupid.

Your thyroid runs on iodine and will absorb all it can until it is absolutely full. This fullness is called saturation or blockade. However, your thyroid does not know the difference between good iodine and bad iodine. Good iodine is taken up by the thyroid in the form of potassium iodate (KI03) or potassium iodide (KI). Bad iodine, I-131, is a radioisotope of iodine which is produced in nuclear reactions such as a bomb or nuclear power plant. I-131 is what we call a beta emitter and if you get it on your skin it will burn you. It has a half-life of roughly 8 days (8.01 to 8.07). One of the reasons spent fuel rods are stored in pools of water for months at a time, is that they will be off-gassing I-131 for roughly 10 half-lives (approximately 80 days).

If you are caught unprotected and downwind from a nuclear reaction and the plume or cloud of fallout reaches you, your thyroid will absorb this bad iodine. You now have.. burn in your thyroid and it is not going to go away. Eventually that ..burn in your thyroid can give you cancer."

US EMBASSY IN TOKYO HANDED OUT KI TABLETS, BUT ONLY TO US CITIZENS



US Embassy Handed Out KI tablets in Tokyo after 3/11, but only to US citizens with passports. Why didn't any Japanese citizens get access to these very valuable Iodine/KI tablets?

According to the following article, the US military ordered all military personnel within 200 miles of the Fukushima plant to be issued KI tablets. What actually happened is that only the officers aboard the Ronald Reagan actually took the KI tablets and the sailors were left to fend for themselves.

These articles above are good examples of how the nuclear industry, nuclear regulators, the military, and the governments actually do not care one whit about the public that they are supposed to be serving and/or protecting. They make it all look good in a TV 30 second spot, say it is all good, and that is the end of it. Everyone is on their own in the middle of a horrible mega nuclear disaster. Because the killing and cancer causing radiation is all invisible, they can get away with this criminal behavior and cover up.

A series of accidents at France’s controversial Cattenom nuclear power station has prompted the government in neighbouring Luxembourg to take the unprecedented step of issuing free iodine pills to its half a million citizens to help protect them in the event of a serious nuclear incident at the plant. The extraordinary measures were announced on Wednesday this week by Luxembourg’s Interior Minister Dan Kersch, who said they were designed to “prevent panic” and the likelihood of a “rush” on the country’s chemists in the aftermath of an accident at Cattenom. “The keywords here are ‘early precaution’,” Mr Kersch said.

If the Japanese or US nuclear industry, nuclear regulators, Japanese or US government had cared even a tiny bit about ANY of their children and other citizens, they could have passed out iodine pills for free to everyone within 5000 miles of the Fukushima nuclear power plant.

Instead of preventing a panic and many cases of thyroid cancer plus thyroid diseases, the nuclear industry just hid the fact that nuclear reactors were melting down for 2 months. Meanwhile, many people were traveling out in the open, directly in the path of the worst plumes. The nuclear industry got away with this, because that toxic and deadly radiation was invisible to all of the senses, so it gave no warning.

RADIOACTIVE IODINE FOUND IN US MILK AFTER TMI, CHERNOBYL AND NOW FUKUSHIMA



What many people in the US don't realize is that the US got hammered with radioactive iodine as well, and it showed up in the milk, seaweed, and drinking water, shortly after this happened, just like it did in Tokyo, for example. In Tokyo, the radioactive Iodine levels in drinking water from Fukushima got so high, the government told people to stop drinking the water on the highest reading days, within 10 days after the Fukushima nuclear disaster. Of course, the study on the effect and dose of Iodine received by people in Tokyo, did NOT include this worst time period. 

Study claims Tokyo newborns had ‘safe’ 1,140 microsievert thyroid dose — Only counted food and water — Did not include inhaled radioactivity — Did not include first 10 days when iodine and other short-lived isotopes peaked

INFANTS, FETUS, NEWBORNS MOST VULNERABLE TO RADIOACTIVE IODINE


Besides the MAJOR problem of this study not showing the worst radioactive iodine doses that happened in the first ten days, it also ignores the following effect on infants and newborns;

In the so called 'study' they claim 280 microsieverts for an adult radioactive iodine exposure. Ok, let's start with this 'official' number which is orders of magnitude below what they actually got and continue to receive...

Via Dick Shenary October 19, 2014 "There is an old saying – "the truth will out" "The winds from Fukushima carried a giant cloud of xenon-133 directly over the Tokyo metropolitan area where (according to the Japan Chemical Analysis Center)it averaged 1,300 atomic disintegrations per second in every cubic meter of air from March 14 through March 22, 2011. Xenon-133 has a short half life of 5 days, so by now it has become it's daughter product cesium-133. There were those within the Japanese government that decided not to warn the Japanese people. Is this not a very serious act of betrayal?" 

Of course, radioactive xenon gas was not just coming over all by itself. All of the other 2,000 radioactive elements and isotopes came along as well, including radioactive iodine.

FETUS 2,000 TIMES MORE SENSITIVE TO SAME DOSE OF RADIATION


According to Dr. Caldicott MD, a fetus is 2,000 times more sensitive than an adult to the same dose, so we must multiply 280 microsieverts for adult, x 2,000 = 560,000 microsieverts equivalent exposure for a fetus.

What does this mean? Are you starting to see how this kind of dosage (or MUCH more) means certain death for a certain age, near conception and birth? That is why there is a huge dip 9 months after any major nuclear disaster for all births downwind of the radioactive cloud. The study is also ignoring the effect of inhaled 'hot 'articles, such as the one in the picture below. 


RADIOACTIVE IODINE LEVELS SPIKING FROM 3/11 TO NOW IN JAPAN


The study also ignores the effect once absorbed, as well as the effects of all of the other hundreds of man made radioactive and toxic heavy metal poisons that came out of Fukushima, which were absorbed by everyone, including the most vulnerable children. It also ignores the burning of radioactive garbage all over Japan, which comes from Fukushima, and the rising radioactive Iodine levels in Tokyo sewage, even up to today.

NUCLEAR EXPERTS AND MASS MEDIA IGNORED IODINE 133


The study also ignores the effect of Iodine 133, which is actually a MUCH more deadly form of radiation to the thyroid, and it lasts much longer. It is also present at 10 times higher rates than the equivalent Iodine 131, after any accident. But that would make people panic, so the press, the nuclear industry, the government and the regulators ignore all of this, and completely dismiss it from the studies as well. Bottom line, the govt and nuclear industry is completely denying a mega nuclear disaster ever happened, and that 'no one will die'.

EPA SHUT DOWN RADIATION DETECTORS AS WORST OF PLUME CAME OVER THEM


The EPA shut down it's radiation detectors on the days of highest radiation. None of the nuclear power plants and multiple nuclear labs reported any elevated radiation and gave out no warnings or reports, despite having very sensitive detectors. The NRC did nothing other than talk by phone with the Japanese on site at Fukushima. So much for the politicians and government protecting you. Are you starting to see how it all works?
