A report from a "Fukushima Mother: ‘Strange smell’ at start of nuclear disaster — Health of entire family has deteriorated — More people who stayed have died, more kids have leukemia and cancer — All our thyroid exams turned out totally different when tested in Tokyo (VIDEO)
[...] my son’s blood pressure had gone down to 82/50. [...] [We] went to a hospital in Tokyo for thyroid examination. [...] all of us had results which were totally different from the results in Fukushima [son diagnosed with thyroid adenomatous goiter and lymphadenopathy with over 10 lymph nodes involved]. When I took him to a hospital in Yamanashi, he was diagnosed with “autonomic nervous system disorder.” [...] More people who remained in Fukushima are suffering from the same symptoms as mine. More people have died. There are more children who got leukemia, who began to have bloody noses and who have thyroid cancer. [...]"

The Fukushima mega nuclear disaster was not limited to just a local area. The radioactive Iodine, cesium, strontium, and 100 other radioactive elements went all around the world. Do you remember being warned to take some preventative iodine tablets, in order to protect your children's thyroid from the radioactive Iodine? No?
Well, that is par for the course, after every nuclear disaster. No one is warned, no one is evacuated and people are left to fend for themselves and figure it out, almost 100% of the time. The negative health effects and deaths are hidden, covered up and denied at just about every level in all directions, every time. Do you find this hard to believe? Research it more and see if this assertion is true or not, for yourself.
Bottom line though, the radioactive Iodine gas that came out of Fukushima arrived in the US two to three days later, via the jetstream. Once it arrived here, the gas was inhaled by millions of people and affected them. The result? A 28% rise in thyroid problems on the West coast of the USA. Of course, the Fukushima radiation went all around the world, so if one looks at the health statistics anywhere in the Northern hemisphere, this same worsening health statistic should be visible.
According to RT news: “Fukushima fallout appeared to affect all areas of the US, and was especially large in some, mostly in the western part of the nation,” researchers from the New York-based Radiation and Health Project wrote in a study published by the Open Journal of Pediatrics.
Children born after the 2011 meltdown of Japan’s Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant are at high risk of acquiring congenital hyperthyroidism if they were in the line of fire for radioactive isotopes. Researchers studied concentration levels of radioiodine isotopes (I-131) and congenital hypothyroid cases to make the association.
Just a few days after the meltdown, I-131 concentration levels in California, Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon and Washington were up to 211 times above the normal level, according to the study. At the same time, the number of congenital hypothyroid cases skyrocketed, increasing by an average of 16 percent from March 17 to Dec. 31, 2011. And between March 17 and June 30, shortly after the meltdown, newly born children experienced a 28 percent greater risk of acquiring hyperthyroidism."

The health effects of low dose radiation are not limited to the thyroid however. So if your child suffered some kind of problem after 3/11, it may pay to look into how and why this may have a connection to Fukushima.
