Prophecy Sign: The European Superstate - Revived Roman Empire
The push for the European Superstate is gathering huge momentum, as it has been reported that a cadre of 10 European nation foreign ministers are drafting a proposal that would see a European federation along the lines of the United States. At the same time, the EU President, Herman van Rompuy is ready to unveil a plan for a European Banking Union which would be a precursor to a political union.
There are some bible prophecy observers that find the 10 European nation foreign minister panel to be most intriguing based on the bible prophecy of the 10 kingdoms that would rise out of the old Roman empire at the time of the end. The belief is that these final 10 kingdoms will be current members of the European Union.
While we would never say never on such a long held belief, it is our opinion these 10 member states are not the final 10 kingdoms of bible prophecy, for the sole reason that the bible makes clear that these final 10 kings have not yet received a kingdom and will only do so for a very short period of time in the future. The 10 nations drafting this political union already have power and authority and in some cases, have had for centuries.
Rather, we believe that the current European Union and Eurozone will indeed morph into the United States of Europe, (the revived Roman Empire), and will be the entity that gives rise to 10 global kingdoms, (Economic zones), which will be given power for a brief period of time, along with the Antichrist.

Ten EU foreign ministers participating in a “study group for the future of Europe” aim to exert pressure to transform the EU into a federation along the lines of the US . Together they have prepared what the front-page headline in Die Presse describes as a “Plan for transformation into a European state.” On 19 June, the ten ministers* presented an initial report to the EU officials who will likely benefit the most from the initiative: Commission President José Manuel Barroso, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy, European Central Bank President Mario Draghi and Eurogroup President Jean-Claude Juncker.

The EU should "do its best to undermine" the "homogeneity" of its member states, the UN's special representative for migration has said. Peter Sutherland told peers the future prosperity of many EU states depended on them becoming multicultural. He also suggested the UK government's immigration policy had no basis in international law. He was being quizzed by the Lords EU home affairs sub-committee which is investigating global migration. Mr Sutherland, who is non-executive chairman of Goldman Sachs International and a former chairman of oil giant BP, heads the Global Forum on Migration and Development, which brings together representatives of 160 nations to share policy ideas.
A banking union would be the first step in a long-term roadmap to political union that he will outline to EU leaders, with dates and institutional problems such as treaty change set out by year's end. "Banking union is a fundamental element," he told German paper Welt am Sonntag, in an interview published on Sunday. "I think we can move forward there more quickly than in other areas."
