Russia, Iran now linking up. Turkey cutting ties with Israel

Prophecy Sign:  The Gog/Magog alliance of nations continues to flex their muscles and gain influence throughout the Middle-East.

Another prophetic scenario that is fast coming together are the alliances that will be in place for the Gog/Magog war that the Prophet Ezekiel foretold, (Ezekiel chapter 38).

These series of articles show just how closely aligned the nations of Russia, Iran and Turkey are becoming with not only each other, but with Arab/Muslim nations all over the middle-east.  And at the same time, nations that were only a few short months ago amicable with Israel, are now cutting ties with the Jewish state and showing increasing belligerence towards Israel, (Egypt and Turkey).

We are told by Ezekiel that at some point in the near future, Iran, (Persia), Turkey, (Beth Togarmah/Gomer) and Russia, (Magog/Meshek/Tubal), will all aligned themselves together, (along with other nations), and attempt to invade the Holy Land.

This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. You will say, “I will invade a land of un-walled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land. Ezekiel 38:10-12 NIV

Despite centuries of antagonism, Russia and Iran have decided to enter into discussions to form an alliance to enhance their security cooperation, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin. Even while Russia has agreed to some United Nations sanctions over Iran's nuclear development program, discussions toward a strategic alliance have been under way for months already, according to informed sources. And more discussions about that relationship, and to address a range of threats, are to take place at the highest levels of government.

A military and economic alliance with Egypt is set to be signed by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The deal should be clinched when Erdogan visits Cairo next Monday - the first such visit paid by a Turkish prime minister in 15 years. The alliance is not intended as "revenge" against Israel; Erdogan's intention is to extend Turkey's influence to areas it has not reached in past decades.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stirred up the Middle East further Tuesday, halting trade with Israel while Turkey threatens to attack Cyprus if it lets Noble Energy drill for gas. Israeli businessman Yitzchak Tshuva has options to license some of the gas. Ignoring pleas from the United States to calm down after a United Nations report stated that Israel’s maritime blockade of Gaza is legal, Erdogan warned he will send more ships to patrol in the Mediterranean Sea and still is considering a visit to Hamas-controlled Gaza. He said Turkey is "totally suspending" defense industry ties with Israel, two days after recalling its ambassador and reducing diplomatic ties to a third-tier level.
