Report: Turkish frigates to confront Israeli ships in Mediterranean

Prophecy Sign:  Turkey, (Beth Togarmah), is prophesied in Ezekiel as one of the nations aligned against Israel in the Gog/Magog war.

The speed at which Turkey has gone from a friend of Israel to one where open hostilities could break out at any time between the two nations, is amazing.  Bible prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes in a matter of just a few months.  Where only a year ago one might have asked just what event might turn Turkey against Israel to fulfill the Gog/Magog prophecy, that same person would need not ask that question any longer.

Turkey is ready to fulfill its destiny in the coming battle prophesied by Ezekiel the Prophet, (chapters 38 & 39).

From the articles:
The Turkish Navy is planning to dispatch three frigates to the Eastern Mediterranean to ensure freedom of navigation and to confront Israeli warships if necessary, a Turkish news report said on Monday. The Turkish frigates, to be dispatched by the Navy's Southern Sea Area Command, will provide protection to civilian ships carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, blockaded by Israel since 2007, the Turkish daily Sabah reported. If the Turkish warships encounter an Israeli military ship outside Israel's 12-mile territorial waters, they will advance up to 100 meters close to the ship and disable its weapon system, in a confrontation that resembles dogfights in the Aegean Sea with Greek jet fighters, according to the report.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday night was greeted by a cheering crowd of thousands in Cairo, where he arrived to sign strategic and commercial agreements with the country's interim government and to launch a regional trip to Egypt, Tunisia and Libya that is being called his "Arab Spring tour."
According to reports, a crowd of two to three thousand enthusiastic Egyptians, including members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood, welcomed the Turkish leader after he landed at the airport in Cairo, where he was met by Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf. Thousands of Egyptians chanted anti-Israel slogans while welcoming Erdogan in Cairo airport.

Turkey ramped up its threats against Israel another notch on Tuesday announcing that its new radar system will no longer automatically identify Israeli aircraft as "friendly," the Ankara-based Star Gazette reported. The system, manufactured in Turkey, replaces a U.S.-made system programmed to identify Israeli aircraft as "friendly." The new system is being installed on Turkish fighter jets, submarines, and warships.
