Prophecy Sign: The one world religious system of the last days

What a headline and straight out of bible prophecy. We are told in the book of Revelation that a global false religious system will be established during the last days, and will work alongside the Antichrist in deceiving the world to accept the claims of the Antichrist that he is God.

This global religious system will likely come together as this article suggests. To unite the worlds faiths to bring about peace. A noble cause perhaps, but true peace will not be established on this planet until Christ returns and sets up his millennial reign.

Revelation 17 describes this false religious system and how it will be used and then destroyed by the Antichrist.

In service of that ideal, representatives of the three Abrahamic faiths — Judaism, Islam and Christianity — gathered at St. John's Cathedral Sunday to have "Conversations That Matter" and "A Multifaith Service of Remembrance Healing and Hope." "I don't know that any of this accomplishes anything," said participant Ann Kelly, "but it makes me feel better. More understanding can't be a bad thing." In forums held all afternoon, people talked about difficult subjects, including what bothers them about their own religions. They talked about their greatest fears about other religions. They learned some of what each faith's sacred texts says about the other. They discussed ways for different groups to conduct respectful dialogue with each other.
