Regional Developments Herald New Islamic Middle-East

Prophecy Sign: The build-up of the Muslim Middle-East into a consolidated alliance with the goal of destroying Israelforever.

There are some bible prophecy observers who believe that the former Islamic Caliphate of the Ottoman Empire, (the eastern leg of the Roman empire), will arise once again as the final world kingdom of bible prophecy. These prophecy watchers believe the final world kingdom will not be from the European nations as is the general belief.
Given how many Saints of God will be put to death by means of beheading, (the Islamic way), during the Tribulation, there may be some credence to this interpretation.

We feel an Islamic final world kingdom will not be the fulfillment of Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream.. It is our opinion however that there will indeed be major alliances made amongst the Muslim nations, (perhaps even a revived Caliphate), which will be the alliances that will come against Israel in the end-times wars of Psalm 83 and Gog/Magog. Indeed, these two wars will do much to destroy the influence of Islam on the remainder of the world as both Almighty God and the Jewish State lay a licking on the combined forces of the Islamic middle-east.

The following articles certainly do show the quickness of this coming together of this Muslim Caliphate, (or alliances), here in the last days.

From the articles:
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi described the current regional uprisings and developments as unprecedented moves which will lead to the creation of a new Middle-East with an Islamic nature. Up until now, the spread of the popular moves in the region both from quantitative and qualitative viewpoints promises a new Middle-East with an Islamic nature, in which people play the role in portraying their future and distance the region from alliance with the US and the Zionist regime," Salehi said, addressing the First International Islamic Awakening Conference here in Tehran on Sunday.

The growing power and impacts of Islamic awakening and popular uprisings in the Muslim countries will entail dire consequences for the Zionist regime of Israel, including its further isolation in the region, a prominent Middle-East and African affairs analyst underlined. Speaking to FNA on the sidelines of the First International Islamic Awakening Conference here in Tehran on Sunday, Binghamton State University Professor Akbar Mohammad noted the anti-Israeli nature of the current popular uprisings in the region, and said people in Egypt and Jordan have very openly and repeatedly voiced their strong opposition to the existence of Israel embassy in their countries. "The Israeli authorities know that continuation of Islamic awakening will result in their expulsion from Muslim countries," Mohammad stated, and added, "Thus, Israelis are trying to have a stronger presence in the African countries."

While the popular uprisings of the Arab Spring created new opportunities for American diplomacy, the tumult has also presented the United States with challenges — and worst-case scenarios — that would have once been almost unimaginable. What if the Palestinians’ quest for recognition of a state at the United Nations, despite American pleas otherwise, lands Israel in the International Criminal Court, fuels deeper resentment of the United States, or touches off a new convulsion of violence in the West Bank and Gaza? Or if Egypt, emerging from decades of autocratic rule under President Hosni Mubarak, responds to anti-Israeli sentiments on the street and abrogates the Camp David peace treaty, a bulwark of Arab-Israeli stability for three decades?
