Prophecy Sign: The establishment of a global financial
system that will likely be tied to a single global currency. A system that will
require people to bear a mark to participate in this new financial world order.
The fact that a United Nations agency is now calling for the establishment
of a brand new global currency as the world’s reserve currency should make
every Christian to sit up and take notice. This announcement by the U.N. just
goes to show how close we are to the end of the Church Age, and how close the
coming of the Antichrist and the Tribulation are.
Bible prophecy indicates that a global system of commerce will exist that
will shut out those people that have refuse to accept the Antichrists mark. Buy
refusing this mark, those people will be consigning themselves to the difficult
challenge of surviving without the ability to buy or sell.
Presently it’s pretty easy for anyone to march into any store with cash in
hand and make any purchase. Such will not be the case during the Tribulation.
To change the world to a system of commerce reliant on a new electronic global
currency would of course setup the ability of the Antichrist to shut out anyone
from buying and selling that has not added this unique mark to their personal
ID.
It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor,
free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so
that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of
the beast or the number of its name. Revelation 13:16-17 NIV
From the article:
The dollar should be replaced with a global currency, the
United Nations has said, proposing the biggest overhaul of the world's monetary
system since the Second World War. In a radical report, the UN Conference on
Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has said the system of currencies and capital
rules which binds the world economy is not working properly, and was largely
responsible for the financial and economic crises. It added that the present
system, under which the dollar acts as the world's reserve currency , should be
subject to a wholesale reconsideration. Although a number of countries,
including
and
have suggested replacing the dollar as the world's reserve currency, the UNCTAD
reportis the first time a major multinational institution has posited such a
suggestion.
