Prophecy Sign:  Perilous times when evil people will become worse and worse

Everyone will have heard by now of the awful massacre that just occurred in Norway where somewhere between 80-90 people were killed by a lone killer.  The left-wing element of the world press is trying to pass off the perpetrator as some sort of right-wing Christian extremist.  (Other articles we've read dispute that "Christian" label being applied to this heinous individual).

Then we read the attached articles about the weekend carnage in America with 14 killed and 53 wounded in a string of shootings.  The most deadly being one where 6 people, (including the gunman), were killed. Is it us, or does there seem to be an exponential rise in these multiple shootings and killings these days?  Seems every weekend now there is a report somewhere in the world of many people dieing at the hands of some crazed lunatic.

Unfortunately, bible prophecy warns that such evil would become more prevalent as we enter these, the last days.  And if you think times are bad now, you would be wrong, as the Tribulation period will be far, far worse.  A particular bible passage indicates that there would be perilous times at the end.  The original Greek world that was interpreted to mean "perilous" actually has a definition that denotes "ragingly insane".  Can you think of a better phrase that paints the picture of the types of events we have been seeing on a much too frequent of basis?

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 Timothy 3:1 KJV

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:13 KJV

If you haven’t already made a decision for Christ yet, may we suggest you don’t delay and do it now?  You don’t want to be around when things get far worse. Jesus has promised to remove us out of this world before the judgments of Revelation are unleashed in full fury on this unrepentant world.

At least 14 people have been killed and 53 others wounded this weekend after a string of deadly shootings over just three days in the U.S. The worrying spike in gun violence started on Friday night just hours after a crazed gunman went on the rampage in Norway, killing at least 93 people. In the latest shooting, a man walked into a Seattle casino in the early hours of this morning and opened fire on his estranged wife and her two sisters as she danced with her new boyfriend.

A shooter opened fire at a skating rink during a private family event Saturday night, killing five and wounding four before fatally shooting himself, Grand Prairie Police spokesman John Brimmer said.

Eight people were shot at a a low-rider car show south of Seattle after a fight on Saturday afternoon, police said. Police were searching for several people believed involved in the shooting, NBC station KING 5 reported. Hundreds of people were gathered for the car show when a fight broke out and gunfire followed. Seven victims were taken to hospitals. One person declined treatment. The extent of the victims' injuries was not immediately released but were said to not be life threatening.
