Turmoil in Syria may spill out into war for Israel

Prophecy Sign:  Damascus will be destroyed in a coming battle which is foretold in bible prophecy

Syrian President, Bashar Assad should be advised to brush up on his prophetic studies of future events foretold in the Bible. If he does, he would find a particularly frightening coming event for his nations capital. That is, they utter destruction of one of the oldest cities in the world, Damascus.

However, with the current events transpiring in Syria, it would appear no one in that mostly Muslim nation is paying any bit of attention to what the Bible has to say.

Israelhas allegedly sent a message to Syrian President Bashar Assad in recent days, warning him that if he starts a war with the Jewish state in order to divert attention from domestic problems, Israelwill target him personally. According to a report by Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida, the personal warning was sent through Turkeyand follows reports of unusual troop movements in Syria, including the relocation of ballistic missiles able to reach Israel. Israeli experts speculate Assad could go on the offensive to divert international attention from internal unrest.  Another theory is that an attack could be staged by Assad's long-time allies Hezbollah from Lebanon.
