Turkey striving to be among 'new axis' in Mideast

Prophecy Sign:  The emergence of Turkey as a major player in Middle-East affairs and in end-times bible prophecy.

Turkey, (Beth Togarmah in the book of Ezekiel), is prophesied to be a major player in the end-times battle known as the Gog/Magog war.  This battle foretold by the prophet Ezekiel will bring several middle-eastern nations against Israel at the time of the end.  One of the combatants will be the rising middle-east power that we now know as Turkey. (Bible historians have traced the lineage of the peoples of the area known as Beth Togarmah with present day Turkey).
