Netanyahu Denies Report He Caved In on Temple Mount

Prophecy Sign:  The negotiation of a seven year treaty of peace between Israel and the "many"

We have said before that we don't believe the current race to set up a new Arab state in the Middle-East called Palestine will be the fulfillment of the seven year peace covenant that the Prophet Daniel wrote about, (Daniel 9:27).  Instead, we have noted many articles from Israeli media which indicate that such a declaration of a new state could lead to another mid-east war.

However, we could be wrong.  With denied reports surfacing that suggest Israel may be ready to agree to most of the Palestinian demands, and President Obama pressuring all parties to agree to a new state based on the pre-1967 borders, perhaps there may be something in the works, and a peace treaty will ensue.

We think not, but in the event the world declares peace at last, you know what the bible says about that:

While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labour pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 NIV

The Prime Minister's Office issued a statement Tuesday bluntly denying a report that Binyamin Netanyahu intends to cave in to extreme Arab demands over Jerusalem and demographics.  

A Kuwaiti newspaper, Al Jarida, reported that Netanyahu will present a diplomatic plan next month that includes Israeli acquiescence to a preliminary "Palestinian" with eastern Jerusalem as its capital. The paper also claimed that Netanyahu agreed to hand over the Temple Mount and other holy places to international sovereignty.

Obama's plan is reportedly based on principles including: the creation of a PA state in Judea and Samaria, with borders based on the 1948 armistice line, the split of Jerusalem, Israel's capital city, the negation of the PA “right of return” for descendants of Arabs who fled Israel in 1948, and a focus on Israel's security needs.
