THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: Context is as follows. The Traditional Anglican Communion (TAC) wrote a letter to the Vatican last year stating that they sought a way to be fully incorporated into the Catholic Church, and asked for recommendations on how to best go about that. While I don't speak Vaticanese, I will offer my humble translation to the best of my ability. I believe this Vatican letter says something to the extent of "Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about you, and we do take you seriously. Sit tight and wait for the dust to settle from the Lambeth Conference. We'll get back to you just as soon as we can." In my opinion, if the Vatican had no intention of allowing a corporate conversion of entire parishes into the Catholic Church, it would have simply responded quickly to that extent, and directed the TAC to pursue individual conversions. In my opinion, the delay in response indicates the Vatican has something else in mind - something more profound and historic. But that is just my opinion.
