Is 200 KM COAST LINE IN BC IS ONE MASS DIE OFF ZONE?

According to Dana, the entire 200 kilometers that he and Terry checked of Canadian Pacific Coast Line was devoid of just about all life, and he says that recovery is highly unlikely. There are well known dead zones associated with civilized areas and rivers entering the ocean, but this is not one of those previously known 'dead zone' areas. Virgin, pristine wilderness areas far away from civilized areas are usually full of massive amounts of life at low tide and are not prone to anything other than infrequent toxic algae blooms, but those don't kill everything except for 4 species. Those toxic algae blooms are also usually local short term incidents, not 200 km long term events. What is especially shocking about Dana's report is his assertion that this whole section of virgin coastline is almost totally devoid of all life.

One location; Victoria BC, seems to have some sea life, but one location does not equal 200 kilometers.. Truth is truth, but this narrator would have a lot more credibility if he just left the facts, without calling everyone a liar and fraud.

The biologists, ocean scientists and anti Dana folks are saying the die off of star fish and a few other critters is due to a common ordinary virus and has NOTHING to do with radiation, and everything is just fine. They are for the most part saying that a few critters died from a virus, which is 'natural' and has nothing to do with Fukushima. They are also saying; Come on down and eat seafood of any kind daily, as much as you want. Swim in the ocean, and have fun. Some are actually claiming things are better than EVER before; Bigger fish, bigger catches, huge herring runs, BEST OF ALL TIME! There is so much business, they cannot even keep up with it all. Glad to hear the good news. Now we can shut down all of the anti nuclear groups, close down EneNews, and live happily ever after, because all of the issues around nuclear energy have been solved, and Fukushima was a non event, with no consequences to anyone or anything, correct?

GLOBAL OCEAN DEAD ZONES


Normally, dead zones along the coasts of oceans are caused by nutrient rich outflow coming from rivers that choke off all oxygen, thus killing everything. There is no life left in a dead zone caused by river runoff. These dead zones are not 'natural', and they are documented scientifically to be happening all over the world. Most if not all of them are growing. Would this one fact alone qualify someone to say that the oceans are 'dying'?

2011 - A study showed that 98 percent of the ocean bottom 150 miles offshore in the Pacific was covered with dead sea creatures. The normal amount is 1 percent.

MASS DIE OFFS OF ANIMAL SPECIES ON WEST COAST - 2011 to 2014


Reports have also come in about mass die offs of many species from Alaska all the way down to Mexico, starting in 2011 and continuing until today, from ocean biologists, scientists and more. Certainly, local die offs of individual species and beachings of animals are 'normal'. But the fact that these species died off all the way from Alaska to Mexico is what makes this unusual. The fact that it all happened after 3/11, makes it that much more suspicious that this is not 'normal', ordinary and run of the mill event. The fact that these dying or dead animals were not analyzed for radiation makes it even MORE suspicious.

Fukushima radiation has been found in measurable levels in Alaska, through one of those RARE studies, not being done anywhere else. Alaska is the equivalent of BC, as it is a virgin, unspoiled wildlife paradise just like BC, correct? Alaska was documented to be radiation contaminated with Fukushima radiation. What makes the people in BC believe that they were somehow immune to the same invisible radiation plumes coming over the ocean, and contaminating all living things?

The Fukushima mega disaster has not ended, it is just beginning. It is NOT under control or in cold shutdown, as TEPCO claims. Fukushima keeps on dumping huge amounts of high level nuclear liquid waste into the ocean on a daily basis, and the situation there is getting worse with time, not better. These are the things that should be talked about and discussed, but they are hidden away and denied.

Certainly, one can easily see how people who own businesses in tourist towns on the coast would want to put a happy smiley face on everything and claim that Fukushima has had no effect at all, on anything. It would be easy to see how they could blame everything on 'normal' events, such as viruses or normal up and down cycles of sea animals. 

On the other hand, maybe the mass die offs and radiation effects are not as bad as Dana makes them out to be. The truth is most likely somewhere in the middle, but the truth is difficult to get to, because huge amounts of money, many businesses both large and small, some of the highest priced real estate in the world, plus many careers are at stake. All of this combined, plus the nuclear industry covering up all accidents to make them look like nothing happened at all, makes the truth very difficult or impossible to see. 

What is known, is that the nuclear man made elements are invisible poisonous heavy metals, plus they are the equivalent of radioactive bullets coming out of a machine gun when they get inside the body. The fact is that these machine gun bullets are invisible, not detectable to the senses, so our warning systems are disabled. We could be standing in a radioactive 'hot spot' and never even know that we are being shot at by millions of invisible radioactive bullets. At least in a war, when bullets are flying, your senses work and you can see, hear and sense the bullets.

Losing species globally is also nothing new, but now the losses are accelerating, and human caused mega nuclear disasters are causing the losses to increase radically.

WHAT IS CAUSING THE MASS DIE OFF OF MANY SPECIES?


There are many pro nuclear experts that believe nothing happened at Fukushima. Here is just one example; In this interview, University of Victoria professor Jay Cullen says that Fukushima radiation does not exist, because nothing melted down, and nothing happened at Fukushima. The IAEA and pretty much all pro nuclear apologists make the claim that Fukushima released only 10% of the radiation compared to Chernobyl, so it means that according to the IAEA, Fukushima released only 1.6 PBq of 137C's.

Anyone with common sense will know that 1.6 PBq coming out of Fukushima is a laughably ridiculous fairy tale, because Fukushima had 3 to 6 nuclear reactors melt down 100%, and at least two to six reactors melted through with corium exiting the reactors and going down into the ground. The ocean is still being poisoned by high level nuclear liquid waste going into the ocean from leaking reactors that are totally open and exposed to the environment, from 3/2011 to now.

In addition, at least 3 spent fuel pools burned, releasing some, most or ALL of their 'hot' load into the atmosphere. At least two of them also melted out at least one pool, such as the equipment pool for example. But when your paycheck depends on not telling the truth, the nuclear industry is very good at hiding 99% of what happened, and admitting only 1% of the truth.

Then building #3 had a MOX fuel explosion, which released a MASSIVE amount of radiation, much more than Chernobyl, all by itself.

There is a possibility that the mass die off of species along the Pacific coast is not Fukushima, but is instead caused by something else, such as acid oceans, or methane, or something else. Wouldn't you agree that this might be worth some further study? What if it is caused by a COMBINATION of methane hydrates, acidification of the ocean, or even some other cause(s), along with radiation contamination from Fukushima?Maybe this is a good avenue for research.

Although the pro nuclear scientists came up with these figures, they downplay the significance and say that 180 MILLION Bq/m³ peak radiation level in the Pacific ocean is nothing to worry about, and that this had NO NEGATIVE EFFECT. How do they know this, and how would they prove it? 


WHERE ARE THE STUDIES ON FUKUSHIMA RADIATION BIOMAGNIFICATION AND BIOCONCENTRATION IN WEST COAST LIVING FOOD WEB?


The evidence of many species experiencing mass die offs seems to consist of evidence that this massive amount of radiation is having a deadly and disastrous effect on the Pacific ocean. Dana's observations seem to confirm a massive die off of many species as well. However, no one is focused on studying the negative effects of Fukushima radiation on the food chain. No one is studying the effect of low dose radiation on the total web of life in the ocean, or how the Fukushima radiation bio accumulates up the food chain from the bottom to the top. The lack of studies does not mean nothing is happening, nor does it mean that everything is still 'normal'. 

The ideal study would look at all of the species of life that existed in the Pacific and on the coast lines in the tidal zone before 3/11 and compare both the numbers and variety in the web of life to today. It would also involve testing the bio accumulation of radiation from the very bottom of the food web to the top, using DRIED animal, plant and microscopic creatures. A few studies have been done, and they all point to radiation bio accumulating up the food chain.

Then those same scientists can also study the negative effect of rising CO2 levels, rising radioactive Carbon 12, 14, 10, and and methane caltrates effects on ocean life. 

FUKUSHIMA MEGA NUCLEAR DISASTER IS ONGOING AND GETTING WORSE

The nuclear industry like to claim that Fukushima is in cold shutdown, and it is being 'decommissioned'. Which other shut down nuclear plant that is being decommissioned has the following things going on? Is it really in cold shut down, when there are actively fissioning coriums that are still out of control both inside what is left of the reactors and out in the ground from melt outs?

Even if by some remote chance, Fukushima did NOT cause the mass die off of multiple species, even if it did not cause the almost complete sterilization along the BC coast, it is STILL time to take global emergency measures. It is time to face the reality that a massive global extinction level event is happening and there are many root causes, one of which is man made radiation.

IT IS TIME TO TAKE MASSIVE ACTION, NOT TIME TO SIT AROUND AND ATTACK EACH OTHER!


It is time to shut the nuclear industry down, as fast as possible. If for no other reason, than to prevent a melt down of all 400 nuclear power plants from the next regularly scheduled Carrington Event.
