Prophecy Sign: The Psalm 83 war and Syria
Syria is heading towards civil war, and like a cornered wild animal, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad will be looking to strike back. More than anything Assad would love to strike out against Israel and draw the attention of the Arab world and his own citizens away from his leadership and towards the Muslim world's mutual enemy....Israel.
We read in bible prophecy that Syria, (Assyria), will join a alliance of nations that seek to destroy the nation of Israel. This last day's battle is known by prophecy watchers as the Psalm 83 war. Each day brings us that much closer to the fulfillment of this prophecy an lets us as Christians know that we are in the very last days of the Church age.
With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you— the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites, Byblos , Ammon and Amalek, Philistia, with the people of Tyre Lot ’s descendants. Psalm 83:5-8 NIV
