'Time has come' to act on Iran, Israel says

Prophecy Sign:  Middle-East war and Iran

Another last day's war that is fast approaching fulfillment is that of the Gog/Magog battle that we read about in the book of Ezekiel.  This war will see Persia, (present day Iran), front and center as one of the main combatants in this Russian led alliance.

As for the rest of the world, it would appear that they will be mostly on the sidelines when Israel comes under attack;  Only asking the attackers what their motives are.  One of the articles we have included in this blog post seems to suggest that this world spectator status has already started. Israel will likely have to go it alone in an attack on Iran's nuclear installations, as the most the remainder of the world wants to do is simply apply more useless sanctions and engage in yet more diplomacy with Iran.  So far Iran hasn't listened, nor will it.

Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, “Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder? Ezekiel 38:13 NIV

From the articles:
The "time has come" to deal with Iran, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Sunday, refusing to rule out military action to curb the Islamic republic's nuclear ambitions. Barak, speaking on CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS program, indicated that Israel's patience was wearing thin -- and provided an ominous response when asked about the growing speculation of an Israeli military strike. "I don't think that that is a subject for public discussion," he said.

Yet the West, headed by the United States, continues to stay away from military action, which is the only way to rid the world and the region of a nuclear nightmare. The American reservations over a military operation, as expressed for example by Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s words that an Iran strike could have unexpected consequences, again show us that harsh sanctions are the most the US and its Western allies aspire for.
The Obama Administration is trying to make pretenses of decisively addressing the problem, yet the US is only willing to use even the “powerful means” of sanctions in a moderate fasion. An American source admitted that sanctions on Iran’s oil are not in the game. Whether because of genuine fears over a steep hike in oil prices, global economic implications or destabilization of the regional order to the point of major military flare-up, it appears that the US and European leaders have already internalized the dictum “better bomb than bombing.”

The West currently knows about the following nuclear program facilities in Iran:
  • Natanz – a uranium enrichment facility
  • Qom – a uranium enrichment facility
  • Isfahan – a uranium conversion Facility
  • Arak – a heavy water production plant
  • Bushehr – a civilian nuclear power plant
  • Tehran – an experimental nuclear reactor
  • Parchin – a military base for nuclear research and development
  • Various uranium mines in central and southern Iran
The surveillance footage suggests that one of the structures at the military site at Parchin seems to be housing a large metal chamber – which the International Atomic Energy Agency report described as being used for nuclear-related explosives testing.
