Man-made super-flu could kill half humanity

Prophecy Sign: Pestilence and plagues in the last days

So what lab decided it would be a good idea to produce a super-flu that could potentially kill half of humanity? Interesting how fact seems to follow fiction. There have been numerous movies in recent years with a theme about dangerous viruses let loose upon humanity, devastating the populace. Movies such as; I am Legend, 28 Days Later, Andromeda Strain, Resident Evil, Outbreak, etc.

There is a monument in the state of Georgiathat is called the Georgia Guidestones. Among other inscriptions on the monument is a notation that world population should be reduced to and maintained at a level of 500 million. Some have surmised that an elite group of peoples have plans to work towards this goal of depopulating the world. You don't suppose that one of their methods might be the unleashing of a deadly virus upon the populace of the world as all those Hollywoodmovies have portrayed?  All conspiracies of course, however, the bible warns us that many millions of people will die from disease and plague during the coming Tribulation. A time when Satan will rule supreme on this globe along with his evil protégée, the AntiChrist.

If you are reading this, don’t discount how evil this world will become during this very dark time in human history.  Now is the time to place your faith in Jesus Christ who has promised to come for his bride the Church, (all Christians), prior to all hell breaking forth on this planet, (the Tribulation).  That is our blessed hope., (Titus 2:13)

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:7-8 NIV

From the article:
A virus with the potential to kill up to half the world’s population has been made in a lab. Now academics and bioterrorism experts are arguing over whether to publish the recipe, and whether the research should have been done in the first place. The virus is an H5N1 bird flu strain which was genetically altered to become much more contagious. It was created by Ron Fouchier of the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, who first presented his work to the public at an influenza conference in Malta in September.
Fouchier said the strain circulates in animals, particularly birds, but rarely affects humans.  In the ten or so years since bird flu first emerged in Asia, fewer than 600 cases have been reported in humans. But the H5N1 strain is particularly vicious, killing roughly half of patients diagnosed with it. What stops it from becoming a major threat to public health is that it does not readily transmit from human to human. Or at least it didn’t – until now.
