Ahmadinejad vows no retreat on nuclear program

Prophecy Sign: The coming Middle-East wars of bible prophecy

The Middle-East continues to march towards the fulfillment of bible prophecy. Not since the last major Israel/Arab war in 1973, (the Yom Kippur War), have we seen such as frightening situation with the potential to blow up into an all out war.

We now have a fanatical regime in Iranintent on acquiring nuclear weapons in order to destroy Israeland hasten the return of their messianic figure the 12th Imam, the Mahdi. We also have seen a change in Egyptthat will likely see a far more Israelhating regime installed in government that may seek to break the long held peace treaty with Israel. We have highly trained, (by Iranno less), military groups in Lebanon, (Hezbollah), and in the Gaza Strip, (Hamas) just itching to launch their thousands of missiles into Israel. An of course Syria which is engaged in its own Arab Spring, has threaten to take on Israel, (which most observers think would be Syrian President, Bashar al Assad's way of redirecting his nations anger away from him and onto Israel).

Is there any doubt why we are called to pray for the peace of Jerusalemand Israel?
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure. Psalm 122:6 NIV

From the articles:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday declared that Tehran will not pull back "even a needle's width" from its nuclear path, even after an incriminating UN report on its nuclear program. Ahmadinejad decried the UN nuclear watchdog's report - which was released Tuesday night - saying it damaged the International Atomic Energy Agency's dignity and was based on "invalid" US claims. "You should know that this nation will not pull back even a needle's width from the path it is on," he said in a speech carried live on Iranian state television. "Why do you damage the agency's dignity because of America's invalid claims?" he asked.

Israel believes it could carry out military strikes against Iran's nuclear facilities and suffer fewer than 500 civilian fatalities were Tehran to retaliate, the country's defence minister said on Tuesday.  Ehud Barak raised the prospect of military action with Iran once again as he hinted that splits in the international community over imposing sanctions regarded as crippling enough by Israel could leave the Jewish state with no option but to take matters into its own hands. The warning came as a report by UN weapons inspectors into Iran's nuclear activities was made public, concluding that the Islamist regime is closer to building an atom bomb than ever before.
