Iran will come against Israel in a future war we believe is not far from fulfilment. There are a whole mess of things that are driving the middle-east to another series of wars, including the Palestinian demand of a unilateral declaration of statehood from the United Nations, Israels recent oil and natural gas discoveries and of course Iran's myopic goal of acquiring nuclear weapons.
The Iranian leadership is on a dangerous path, and their hatred of Israel and the Jewish people will result in their judgement by God almighty in what is known as the Gog/Magog war which is foretold in the book of Ezekiel.
This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shieds, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.
