Great darkness in Egypt

Prophecy Sign:  A major geo-political shift in the fortunes and destiny of Egypt

While America and the Western world may not be in future bible prophecy, Egypt sure is.  And unfortunately, most of the events that Egypt and the Egyptians will go through will be awful to say the least.

The prophet Ezekiel foretells a time when Egypt will be devastated by a major catastrophe that involves the Nile River, (Ezekiel 29).  And the prophet Isaiah tells us that Egypt will go through major civil strife and fighting, before a "fierce" leader takes over and rules the nation of Egypt, (Isaiah 19).  Also, we are told in the book of Psalms, (Psalm 83), that Egypt will become involved in yet another war against Israel, (which won't go well for Egypt as Ezekiel 29 suggests).

However, after all these events occur, and God is finished with his judgment of the Egyptians, there is good news.  Egypt ultimately recognizes the true God, (Yahweh) and his son Jesus, (Yeshua), and turns away from the false God of the Muslim world, known as Allah.

So the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and in that day they will acknowledge the LORD. They will worship with sacrifices and grain offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and keep them. The LORD will strike Egypt with a plague; he will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the LORD, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them. Isaiah 19:21-22 NIV

In post-revolution Egypt, almost no day goes by without the Salafiyun assaulting Christians or members of other Muslim sects. They even took over a Cairo mosque held by the State, removed the local Imam and appointed one of their own instead – an elderly preacher who was recently released from jail and boasts of fighting the "Zionists" in 1948. Lately, a slew of video clips have been leaking that expose radically terrifying and offensive words coming from the mouths of Egypt’s Islamic leaders. Recently, we had Ahmed Ezz El-Arab, who said that the Holocaust was a lie and that the U.S. is responsible for 9/11. And who can forget Salafi Shaykh Muhammad Hassan’s statement that Islam prefers immoral men…or Shaykh Sa‘id ’Abd-al-’Azim’s belief that democracy is a “retarded” idea? Now, to add to our list of “Egyptian Leaders Behaving Badly,” we have Egyptian Shaykh Safwat Hegazy who can be seen, below, threatening Jews, Christians and the entire human race.
