The prophet Daniel recorded for us a last days prophecy which would see two powerful coalition blocs of nations collide in battle. The two are known as the King of the North and the King of the South, and are recorded in Daniel 11.
All prophecy experts peg the King of the North as being the Antichrist; Emanating out of either the Western leg of the old Roman Empire, (Europe), or the Eastern leg, (the old Ottoman Empire). (We ourselves believe it will be the now developing
But what will be the King of the South? We are not alone in believing it will be a Muslim Caliphate comprising much of the Middle-East and North African Muslim nations. Hal Lindsey is one proponent of this theory.
The following videos and the news article make it quite clear that what is currently happening in the middle-east with all the recent uprisings could be leading to the establishment of a new Muslim Caliphate in this region. A Caliphate would be headed by one powerful ruler, (the King of the South?)
At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood. Daniel
