Obama says Palestine must be based in 1967 borders

Prophecy Sign:  The establishment of a seven year covenant between Israel and the World

The pre-1967 borders and a new Palestinian state.  U.S. President, Barack Obama tells Israel to get use to the idea.  Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu says don't bet on it.  And the Palestinians don't care one way or the other, as they seek the outright destruction of the Jewish state with a brand new state called Palestine put in its place. The month of September, (when the Palestinians seek a unilateral U.N. declaration of Statehood), is going to be quite interesting.

Bible prophecy tells us of a coming time in the not too distant future when a world leader will negotiate a treaty/covenant with the Jewish people.  This agreement lasting seven years will allow for the construction of a new Jewish Temple, and will allow the Jewish people to live in peace for a short period of time.  (The first half of the Tribulation to be exact.)  The events that are now occurring between the World and the nation of Israel need to be watched closely.  We may be very close to the fulfillment of bible prophecy.

He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. Daniel NIV

From the articles:
President Barack Obama is endorsing the Palestinians' demand for their future state to be based on the borders that existed before the 1967 Middle East war, in a move that will likely infuriate Israel. Israel says the borders of a Palestinian state have to be determined through negotiations.
In a speech outlining U.S. policy in the Middle East and North Africa, Obama on Thursday sided with the Palestinians' opening position a day ahead of a visit to Washington by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu is vehemently opposed to referring to the 1967 borders.

On the stalled Israeli-Palestinian peace process, Mr Obama said it was "up to the Israelis and Palestinians to take action". "No peace can be imposed upon them, nor can endless delay make the problem go away," Mr Obama said. "But what America and the international community can do is state frankly what everyone knows: a lasting peace will involve two states for two peoples." President Obama said the borders of Israel and a Palestinian state should be based on pre-1967 borders, referring to those that existed before the Six-Day War.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu swiftly rejected President Obama's call Thursday for Israel to pull back to the borders that existed before the 1967 Six-Day War, calling those lines militarily "indefensible." Obama, in a sweeping address tackling the uprisings in the Middle East and the stalled peace process, stunned Washington and Jerusalem by endorsing Palestinians' demand for their own state based on the pre-1967 borders.
