Bible prophecy indicates that at the time of the end of the Tribulation, a powerful army will march on the Middle-East.  This army will number some 200 million, and will come from beyond the Euphrates River from the East.  While this army will likely comprise members from several different nations from the East, (perhaps India, Japan and the Koreas), the most likely contributor will be China.  The Chinese are quickly becoming a world super-power, both militarily and economically.  In fact, China’s economy is expected to surpass that of America in the next few short years.

The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God.  It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”  And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind.  The number of the mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand.
