Prophecy Sign: Natural disasters, (earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, droughts, fires), would increase at the time of the end.
The book of Revelation is replete with warnings of coming "acts of God", upon the earth; Volcanoes, earthquakes, drought, burning sun, and darkened skies. Even Jesus, in his warnings to his disciples of the signs of the end, indicated the same.
The last couple of years have seen an incredible amount of natural disasters, (as this article attests to), and 2011 is shaping up to be the same. Are we now seeing the birth pangs that Christ warned of?

The global impact of natural disasters took a turn for the worse in 2010 with an uptick in fatalities and economic damage, according to a report released Tuesday. There were 385 natural disasters worldwide last year that killed more than 297,000 people, affected over 217 million others and caused $ 123.9 billion in economic damages, according to the Annual Disaster Statistical Review 2010.
