All children to be registered in national biometric records

Just another example of how governments can simply sign into law a requirement that each and every citizen give up their personal biometric information.  In this case, it's Mexico requiring all children 17 and under to have a new biometric national ID which would include fingerprints and iris scans.  Can it be far away, that every citizen on earth will soon be required by the government of the day to provide all the same information which will instead of being on a card, will be within an implantable RFID chip?  And perhaps at the same time, the new RFID chip will link up with a new global economic cashless system?

We are not sure just what the "Mark of the Beast" will be.  Since the days when the IPC code was slapped onto every grocery item you buy, there has been conjecture as to what the mark will be.  Needless to say, the system must have two components;  The ability to identify and track every individual on the planet and the ability to allow those same people to conduct day to day commerce.  Never before has there been a time when both components could be merged into one, and never before a time when it could be inserted so easily onto the hand or forehead.

The RFID chips/tags, may not be the Mark of the Beast, but given how quickly technology progresses every year, we are not far from the fulfillment of this prophecy.

It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. Revelation 13:16-17 NIV

From the articles:
On Jan. 19, 2011, Mexico's President Felipe Calderon signed an executive order requiring within the next five years all Mexicans 17 years old and younger have a biometric national identity card that would include a facial photograph, all 10 fingerprints, and an iris scan.  To carry out the presidential executive order, the Mexican Directorate General of the National Population Register plans to go to all elementary schools in Mexico schools in Mexico to record the required biometric information and issue individual identity cards.
