99.8 percent of scientists agree that global warming is real and is happening. The mass media news is owned or influenced by the same huge corporations that are polluting and don't want to change their polluting, global warming ways. So the mass media keeps spouting the .2 percent must definitely be right, and the 99.8 percent must be wrong. They give equal or even more air time to the .2 percent, compared to the 99 percent, making it appear like they have just as much or more credibility. Repeating this over and over is considered to be propaganda, and people believe whatever they see over and over again, despite it not being true.

Big globalist corporations that are the REAL problem, hate things like the EPA, environmental protection laws, renewable energy, carbon taxes, fair and equal debates, unions, fair wage laws, Kyoto Agreements, solar energy, wind energy, voting, privacy, equal rights, freedom, and democracy. The corporations that own the mass media make sure that all of the above subjects are covered, but only from the corporate point of view. In other words, anything that is contrary to corporate profits and interests is BAD, so it is given negative news coverage and talked about in a negative way, just about every time you see or hear about it. No positive images of any of the above are given any meaningful air time, and there are no real debates about any of these things, so people are 'progammed' to think like corporations and vote in favor of their politicians, due to a lack of debates or information to the contrary.

At least in the US, the government and the mass media is mostly being controlled and run by huge monopolies that have the most money, and thus they have the most power to create laws, or to block the laws that they don't like. Their absolute power, money and ad budgets also influence what you see on the news, how it is portrayed and what does NOT make it onto TV and news shows.
