Southern California is experiencing an Earthquake swarm right now.
The quakes are getting stronger as they continue, a lot of them are 4 and 5 magnitude now. You can see the list of them below. They are all shallow from 4 km to 10 km, with only one at 24 km at the deepest.
So this seems to be real fault movement happening. 36 of them have happened today alone.
