Prophecy Sign: Signs in the Sun, Moon and Stars
We have no idea if God's plans include putting us all in the dark at some point in time. We do know however, that God will ignite the Sun, causing its intensity to greatly increase, scorching people during the Tribulation, (Revelation 16:8).
We posted a blog entry last week in which the article noted of the many, many deaths that would ensue after a nuclear blast high above the North American continent, (and EMP blast). The same thing would also happen if the continents power grids where wiped out by a Coronal Mass Ejection from the Sun. Countless millions would be without food, potable water, medicines, etc.

The sun follows a predictable 11 year activity cycle, with the next period of stormy activity expected to begin in 2012-13.
