Right on queue, the Russia Bear is back and ready to play her part in the coming Gog/Magog alliance of nations that will come against Israel. And if we are as close as we believe to the fulfillment of this prophetic battle, then the leader, (Gog), of Magog, (Russia), will likely be the former KGB agent himself, current Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin who is set to make a run to take back the Russian presidency he once held.

Why would God drag Russiainto this conflict? We believe to judge Russiafor her many years of Jewish persecution under Communist rule and for supplying billions of armaments over the years to Israel’s sworn enemies. Even now Russiais siding with both Iranand Syria and continues to supply arms and nuclear know-how to her middle-east allies.

Vladimir Putin accepted his ruling party’s nomination on Sunday to return to Russia’s presidency, while accusing foreigners of funding his political opponents in a reminder of the anti-Western rhetoric that characterized his years in power.
