Prophecy Sign: The Euro-Superstate, (the revived Roman Empire)

We have been warning for some time now that the economic crisis that has plagued Europe since the 2008 economic meltdown would be the catalyst to a brand new European Union, or Euro-Superstate. One with fewer members but much more consolidated which financial and economic sovereignty of each member state given over to Brussels. That game plan has accelerate exponentially with the Greek and now Italian crisis’s.

Bible prophecy tells us that a final world empire will rise out of the ashes of the old Roman Empire, (which was never really destroyed - only co-opted by the Holy Roman Empire - the Catholic Church). The bible paints this empire as made up of party clay and partly iron. Or in other words, partly strong and partly weak. It would not hold together. That certainly describes the present European Union, and the coming revived Roman Empire, (or Euro Superstate), will be the same.

This final European empire will spawn the final 10 Kingdoms we read about in both the books of Daniel and Revelation. Some say these 10 kingdoms will be European nations, (Hal Lindsey for instance), while others say that the 10 kingdoms will be 10 economic jurisdictions dividing the globe, (Jack Van Impe, among others follows this thought). Whatever these final 10 kingdoms will be, it will be from these entities that the Antichrist will arise.

Daniel 2 & 7, along with Revelation 17 describes this final empire and the 10 kingdoms that will work alongside the Antichrist to implement the coming new financial world order.

He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. Daniel 7:23-34 NIV

German and French officials have discussed plans for a radical overhaul of the European Union that would involve setting up a more integrated and potentially smaller euro zone, EU sources say. Fears that Europe's sovereign debt crisis was spiralling out of control have intensified as political chaos in Athens and Rome, and looming recession, created panic on world markets. Reports emerging from Brusselssaid that Germanyand France had begun preliminary talks on a break-up of the eurozone, amid fears that Italywould be too big to rescue.

Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, said the situation had become "unpleasant", and called for eurozone members to accelerate plans for closer political integration. "It is time for a breakthrough to a new Europe," she said. "Because the world is changing so much, we must be prepared to answer the challenges. That will mean more Europe, not less Europe."
