U.S. Scrambles to Avert Palestinian Vote at U.N.

Prophecy Sign:  The coming judgment of the nations for their further dividing of the Holy Land

The nations of the world are ready to declare that it is a good thing to divide further the land that God gave as an eternal inheritance to his Chosen Peoples. God will declare otherwise in his judgements upon those nations.

The bible says that "all" nations will eventually march on the land of Israel. However there seems to be a small group of nations that at the very least express some question as to the motifs of those nations that desire the utter destruction of the Jews and Israel. These nations are called the young lions of Tarshish in the Gog/Magog detailed prophecy in the book of Ezekiel, (chapter 38).

We are of the belief that these young lion nations are the offspring of the mother lion of Great Britain. The nations that sprang from Britain, (whose emblem is that of a Lion), would be Canada, America, Australia & New Zealand. These nations, as well as a few European nations, have generally been Israel’s greatest supporters and likely will abstain from or veto any vote to create a new Palestinian state later this September.

However it won't be an easy decision and could cause those nations much grief among the Muslim world. But those nations that do stand up for Israelwill be rewarded as God has promised to bless those nations that bless the Jewish people.  Pray your nation will be one of those that stands beside Israel.

In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land. Joel 3:1-2 NIV

All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Matthew 25:32-33 NIV

I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Genesis 12:3 NIV

From the articles:
The administration has spent months trying to avoid casting its veto in the Security Council to block membership of a Palestinian state. It also hopes to avert a vote for the more symbolic change in status in the General Assembly, which senior officials, echoing the Israelis, have warned would be harmful to Israeli-Palestinian peace and could foment violence.  But with negotiations long stalled, the Palestinians and their allies say that such a vote would preserve the idea of a two-state solution. The timing of the confrontation has created a diplomatic quandary for President Obama, putting him in the position of opposing Palestinian aspirations for self-determination even as his administration has championed Arabs who have overthrown leaders in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya or who seek to in Syria. At the same time, he faces pressure from Israel’s vocal supporters in Congress to block the vote or cut off military and economic assistance the United States has given to the Palestinians.

A former head of Saudi Arabian intelligence and ex-ambassador to Washington, Turki al-Faisal, has warned that an American veto of Palestinian membership of the United Nations would end the ''special relationship'' between the two countries, and make the US ''toxic'' in the Arab world. The warning comes as Washington is scrambling to avoid a scenario where it alone casts a veto in the UN Security Council against the Palestinian bid for recognition of statehood, which is expected to be formally requested next week.

The future independent Palestinian state will not include a Jewish minority, a top Palestinian official told USA Today on Wednesday, adding that it was in the best interest of both peoples to "be separated."  Maen Areikat, PLO Ambassador to the United States, made the comment just as the Palestinian Authority, led by President Mahmoud Abbas, was preparing to offer up Palestinian statehood to a vote in the United Nations General Assembly later this month.
