Prophecy Sign: Increased knowledge in the last days
If this news about the speed of light barrier being broken turns out to be true, it will certainly shake the foundations of know science. One of the basics taught in any high school physics class is that the speed of light is, (or was), unbreakable. It is also taught that the speed of light is constant and never changes.
There is one particular bible prophecy expert who believes that the speed of light never was constant at its current rate and has in fact slowed down since the creation of mankind. Chuck Missler, a very well known academic and scholar in the study of bible prophecy believes that at the time of creation, light had a speed of infinity, (instantaneous), and that when we escape this world and move into the dimension of heaven we will once again see light restored to its former constant of infinity.
Scientists have long surmised that the closer one gets to the speed of light, time slows down for that person. So presumably, once reaching the constant of the speed of light, you would no longer age, and would become an eternal, no longer mortal, being.
God promised us eternal life. Now you know just how he will go about it. By restoring the speed of light to its former constant and bringing his creation into this new dimension to live eternally with him.
