Prophecy Sign: The establishment of a global police state, (which will be
used to hunt down and eliminate those who do not accept Antichrist as God).

So after posting another blog entry earlier today about the possibility of a
major solar storm wiping out much of our technological systems, we have this
entry about the establishment of a police state that is incumbent upon our
present technological society. How do the two jive? Well frankly they don't
seem to.

However, as most of the very terrible events of the 7 year Tribulation
period fall near to the end of the seven years, it makes sense that God would
allow society to keep following its present path, until he deems it time to
destroy the whole shebang. (Perhaps that's when the big solar storms that
scientists are predicting will happen).

One of those present paths would be the establishment of a global police
state that would be utilized by the future Antichrist to hunt down and put to
death those that refuse to accept him as God. The system would also likely be
used to deal with those that would attempt to inform and warn others as to whom
the Antichrist really is.

Each time we read articles like the following, which shows how much further
down the road to a tyrannical police state grid we are, the more convince we become
that we are very near to the end of the Church age. That Jesus Christ is
waiting for the tap on the shoulder from his father, (Almighty God), to go
fetch his bride the Church to bring her home to safety. We call that the
Rapture of the Church.

From the article:

Facebook's online privacy woes are well-known. But here's an
offline one: its massive database of profile photos can be used to identify you
as you're walking down the street.
A Carnegie
Mellon University

researcher today described how he assembled a database of about 25,000
photographs taken from students' Facebook profiles. Then he set up a desk in
one of the campus buildings and asked willing volunteers to peer into Webcams. The
results: facial recognition software put a name to the face of 31 percent of
the students after, on average, less than three seconds of rapid-fire comparisons.

In the hands of law enforcement, however, face recognition
can raise novel civil liberties concerns. If university researchers can
assemble such an extensive database with just Facebook, police agencies or
their contractors could do far more with DMV or passport photographs--something
that the FBI has been doing for years
. (The U.S. Army partially funded the
Carnegie Mellon research.)
