Prophecy Sign:  Wars and Rumors of Wars

There hasn't been a lot of news of late coming out of Asia with regards to rumors of wars, but that doesn't mean all is settled and well.  In fact, the hatred North Korea has for its Southern neighbor is still vitriolic and could erupt into full-scale war at anytime.  And now there are think-tanks that are concerned with the growing military super-power that is China, and the possibility of war breaking out in Asia over some dispute that China may have with one of it's neighbors. 

As Jesus said, we could expect not only real wars being fought on the ground, but even rumors of wars at the last days prior to his return.

Risks are growing that incidents at sea involving Chinacould lead to war in Asia, potentially drawing in the United States and other powers, an Australian think tank warned on Tuesday. The Lowy Institute said in a report that the Chinese military's risk-taking behaviour in the South and East China Seas, along with the country's resource needs and greater assertiveness, had raised the chances of an armed conflict. "The sea lanes of Indo-Pacific Asia are becoming more crowded, contested and vulnerable to armed strife. Naval and air forces are being strengthened amid shifting balances of economic strategic weight," report authors Rory Medcalf and Raoul Heinrichs wrote.

A North Korean government spokesman accused front-line South Korean army units of setting up "virulent" signs that slander North Korea and of inciting "extreme hostility" toward Pyongyang. "This is little short of a clear declaration of war," the unidentified spokesman said in comments carried by the North's official Korean Central News Agency. "We will react to the enemy's provocation with a stern punishment and counter its war with a merciless retaliatory sacred war."
