Netanyahu's defiance on deal is 'declaration of war'

Prophecy Sign:  The Psalm 83 War

As September approaches, (the month in which the Palestinians will go to the U.N. for a unilateral declaration of Statehood), the rhetoric picks up.

Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said no way to a splitting of Jerusalem, or a return to the pre-1967 borders.  The Palestinians leadership has of course denounced this announcement as a "declaration of war against the Palestinians".  Pretty strong words.  In addition, the Palestinians have re-iterated their goal of achieving the new state of Palestine through a declaration from the United Nations.  Of course this would be done without any agreement in place with Israel, so how any border arrangements would be put in place and enforced is anybodies guess.

This of course is all leading to the war that is prophesied in Psalm 83.  The rhetoric, as we said before, is gaining momentum with each passing day.  The hatred that exists towards Israel and the Jews in the Muslim Arab mindset is visceral, (see attached video below).  Please pray for the peace of Israel and Jerusalem.

O God, do not remain silent; do not turn a deaf ear, do not stand aloof, O God. See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads. With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.” Psalm 83:1-4 NIV

From the articles:
Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, wrapped up a rocky visit to Washington yesterday with a defiant speech to US Congress that appeared to dash any hopes of reviving stalled peace talks with the Palestinians.
Mr Netanyahu returned to old themes: he demanded Palestinian recognition of Israel as a Jewish state, described the right of return for Palestinian refugees as a "fantasy" and vowed to keep Jerusalem undivided. Nabil Shaath, a spokesman for the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, said Mr Netanyahu's speech was "a declaration of war against the Palestinians... and unfortunately, it received a standing ovation".

Israel is the only country that has guaranteed freedom of all faiths in Jerusalem, which must remain undivided, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told Congress Tuesday. In unusually strong language, he told members of Congress that Judea and Samaria are part of the ancient Jewish homeland that our forefathers walked in and that the 650,000 Jews living there "are not ‘occupying’ the region.” He strongly criticized the changed versions of history that are being promoted by others.

Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, has said that without a renewal of peace talks with Israel, the Palestinians will seek UN recognition. Abbas's comments, on Wednesday, came a day after a major speech by Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's Prime Minister. "Our first choice is negotiations, but if there is no progress before September we will go to the United Nations," Abbas said, criticising Netanyahu's speech to the US congress on Tuesday, which, he said, was devoid of any new incentive to restart peace talks.
