You Always Have a Mother - John Paul II on Love for Mary

Prophecy Sign:  A departure from the teaching of true Biblical Christianity.  Turning towards another Gospel.

The poor Catholics.  Many are such good people with earnest desires to help others, (others only show up to mass because they're obligated to do so on the days of obligation).  However the Catholic faith has been so co-opted by heretical teachings over the last hundreds of years that it has essentially become another gospel.  Take for example the teaching that Mary the mother of Christ is to be your comforter and teacher, (see below).  Wrong!!  And we can't say that loud enough.  The comforter that Jesus sent is none other than the Holy Spirit.  And no, Jesus Christ would not have us showering blessings on the "Blessed Mother Mary", or any other mortal human being for that matter.  The only one to be showered with blessings and to be worshiped is that of God the Father and God in the flesh, Jesus Christ.

Please pray for your Catholic brothers and sisters.  They need to know the truth.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26 NIV

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'"  Luke 4:8 NIV

From the article:
Every good son delights to see his mother praised.  This is even more so the case with the Lord Jesus and his Blessed Mother, Mary.  It warms Jesus’ heart to see Christians showering praises upon his mother.
Thus John Paul II spoke to young people about Mary in his 2003 world youth day message:  Jesus gives his Mother to you so that she will comfort you with her tenderness… She will discharge her ministry as a mother and train you and mold you until Christ is fully formed in you.
