Many were worried that the fall of the Mubarack regime in Egypt would open the door for Islamic rule to step through and take over Egypt, (not to mention many other of the middle-east nations as well).  Islamic rule is no friend of Israel, in fact the elimination of the Jews and the Jewish State are the stated goals of radical Islam.

It would now appear the Egypt is fast moving towards becoming an Islamic state, which will set the stage for Egypt to become just another enemy of IsraelEgypt is alluded to in the prophecy of Psalm 83 as one of the many neighbouring nations bordering Israel that comes against the Jewish State in an end-times war.

From the news articles:
Officials of the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt's leading Islamic group, have called for the establishment of a Saudi-style modesty police to combat "immoral" behavior in public areas in what observers say in another sign  of a growing Islamic self-confidence in the post-Mubarak era.

The Muslim Brotherhood is active throughout the Islamic world and there's concern that the group is taking over the revolution that swept Hosni Mubarak from power in Egypt. As many have feared, that group is gaining influence in Egypt.

Thousands of Islamic leaders are headed back to Egypt after learning their names were removed from a "wanted" list developed by Egyptian security forces. The Egyptian newspaper Al Masry Al Youmis reported that Ibrahim Ali estimated 3,000 members of Jama'a al-Islamiya and other Egyptian Islamic jihad groups are set to return to Egypt in the next few days.

Many liberal activists fear they have been side-lined since Mubarak's February 11 overthrow by Egypt's ruling military council and by more politically-experienced Islamist groups, well disciplined after operating for decades in secret while facing harsh persecution. "We want to ensure that our revolution is not stolen from us," announced a flier published by the Youth Coalition, one of the more prominent associations that emerged from the revolution.
