Perhaps this is not one of the signs in the sun, moon and stars that Jesus was referring to, (Luke ), but an interesting news article none-the-less. Scientists think the there may be a huge new planet in the solar system, (see below).
There are some people that believe in a mysterious planet know as Nibiru. They claim that this mysterious planet sweeps through the solar system once every 3,600 years causing much damage to Earth as it passes by. Many of these same people believe that this planet is once again making its way towards Earth and will be the cause of the 2012 end of the world scenarios.
Well, we personally don't buy into this apocalyptic tale. If this huge new planet at the edge of the solar system is indeed Nibiru, then it would have to attached a warp-drive engine to itself in order to get from the Ort clouds, (far limits of the solar system), to Earth in time for 2012.
Besides God has said that planet Earth will not be destroyed and will last forever:
