Italian volcano Etna has become active

Earthquakes, of all sorts and sizes are occurring throughout the world, and in places that rarely see tremblers of any sort.  And volcanoes, from Russia, to Indonesia, from South America to Italy, Iceland to the Philippines are becoming active with varying degrees of severity.  It would appear the earth is awakening as Jesus said it would in the final days.

Mount Etna, located on the Italian island of Sicily, has became active according to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Italy on Monday. According to seismologists, the volcano has begun erupting large rocks and a large amount of ash. However eruptions of lava from the crater of Mount Etna have not yet been recorded.

An earthquake hit homes across the north of England on Monday night, weeks after a similar tremor in Cumbria. Residents described how the floor shook, objects fell from tables and door frames rattled as the earthquake struck at 9.02pm. The British Geological Survey said the local magnitude – the term seismologists prefer to the Richter scale – measured about 3.6. The tremor had its epicentre just west of Ripon, North Yorkshire, but was felt more than 50 miles away in Cumbria and in Northumberland.

An earthquake hit northern Israel on Saturday evening, being felt most strongly in the region of Beit Shean and Afula; residents of Tzfat reported feeling motion as well. The quake was measured at 3.6 on the Richter scale.

An Indiana earthquake Thursday, measured at a magnitude of 3.8, is the strongest ever recorded in that part of the state, which rarely sees earthquakes. No damage has been reported.
