Have you heard about this group and movement? They are convinced that May 21, 2011 will begin the end of days. Don't believe it!! Groups like this that come out and predict an actual date of the Rapture or some other part of the end of days scenario only make a mockery of legitimate Bible prophecy followers. Once this coming date comes and goes, (which it will), it will further discredit those of us that are attempting to play the part of the Watchman on the Wall, warning that we are the last generation of this current dispensation.
While we are convinced that we are indeed deep into the final days of the last generation that Jesus spoke of in his Olivet discourse, we place no date on his return. We simply point to the signs and ask you to be watchful, and use what time remains to make a difference with member of your family, friends and others within your circle of influence.
At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. Matthew 24:23 NIV
Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Matthew 24:32-33 NIV
But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Matthew 24:36 NIV
From the article:
If there had been time, Marie Exley would have liked to start a family. Instead, the 32-year-old Army veteran has less than six months left, which she’ll spend spreading a stark warning: Judgment Day is almost here. Exley is part of a movement of Christians loosely organized by radio broadcasts and websites, independent of churches and convinced by their reading of the Bible that the end of the world will begin on May 21, 2011 .
